In an interview with eWEEK, Kevin Lynch, senior vice president and chief software architect at Adobe, said the San Jose, Calif.-based company has released a beta of Adobe AIR, based on feedback from the alpha version released earlier.Īdobe AIR has the same database that exists in Google Gears, “and we’re going to align the APIs between Adobe AIR and Google Gears,” Lynch said.
